This includes learning how to best use the rider's
body to influence the horse's movement.
Sarah considers it the human's job to learn to
think like a horse, not the other way around!

Sarah believes in teaching her riders a strong
foundation of correct basics.
She also teaches riders how to properly read a
horse's body language in order to communicate more effectively.

About Sarah Allen
Sarah has been riding horses since she got her
first pony at age 5. Throughout her youth she enjoyed riding the
trails and showing at the local shows. In the beginning of her
amateur career, Sarah showed horses in several disciplines, including
Gymkhana and Dressage. Eventually she returned to her roots: The
Open Show Ring and Trail Riding.
Sarah began training full time in 1997. Shortly
thereafter, Sarah achieved certification from the American Riding
Instructor Association in Recreational Riding, Level II. Today,
Sarah's clients include seasoned show competitors, first time
horse owners and recreational trail riders.
